| This Water Aerobics Instructor’s ‘Single Ladies’ Routine Would Make Beyoncé Proud Posted: 24 Aug 2015 09:14 AM PDT This clip, filmed by a British tourist, of a water aerobics instructor dancing to Beyoncé’s hit song “Single Ladies” at a Spanish resort will make you want to book a vacation ASAP. Becky Wells from Southampton, England, shared video on Facebook of a man in swim trunks leading a class in the swimming pool at Hotel Condesa de la Bahía on Alcudia bay on the north coast of Majorca. Watch in awe as he manages to bust out these moves on the slippery edge of the pool — and do a split — all while carefully ensuring he doesn’t fall into the pool. It is a dance routine that would surely make the Grammy Award-winning pop star proud. Read next: Introducing the Twitter Hotel on the Magaluf Beach of Majorca |
| Full House Cast Members React to Lifetime’s Unauthorized Full House Story Posted: 24 Aug 2015 08:54 AM PDT On Saturday night, Lifetime aired a film called The Unauthorized Full House Story, which claimed to reveal the true story behind the beloved ’90s sitcom. The movie came just in time for Fuller House, the upcoming reboot which focuses on D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) as an expectant mother. Some of the original Full House cast members turned to Twitter to share their opinions about the Lifetime movie. The verdict? Not so good. First up, Candace Cameron Bure. She didn’t mention the movie by name, but tweeted the following message while it was airing: Andrea Barber, known for playing the illustrious Kimmy Gibbler, shared her reaction as well: Full House and Fuller House creator Jeff Franklin chimed in too: But John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse, remained positive: |
| Watching This Little Bear Roll Down a Hill Is the Answer to Your Monday Woes Posted: 24 Aug 2015 08:46 AM PDT Video of a bear rolling down a hill in Denali National Park in Alaska is going viral after YouTube user David Pangborn from Duluth, Minnesota, uploaded it on Monday. In the minute-and-a-half clip, the animal starts walking normally on four legs and then just seems to give up and start rolling down the hill, pausing at times to just chill on its back. In the background of the clip, tourists can be heard laughing hysterically and digital cameras start clicking.

| Watch a Classical Pianist Nail a Dr. Dre Medley at a Bar Posted: 24 Aug 2015 08:27 AM PDT On a recent Sunday in August, a classically-trained pianist wowed patrons at an Arizona bar with a medley of Dr. Dre songs. Morris Rahbar, a composer and piano teacher in the Los Angeles area, was filmed playing songs from Dre’s post-NWA career like “Still D.R.E.” and “What’s the Difference” during the tail end of bachelor party celebrations. Rahbar and his friends were at a bar in Scottsdale called Bevvy, where the guys were killing time before heading to the airport. People hanging out in the doorway had come in from off the street just to listen to the impromptu performance. Check out the medley below:

| Stephen Colbert Announces the Rest of His Opening Week Lineup for The Late Show Posted: 24 Aug 2015 08:02 AM PDT Stephen Colbert has already given viewers a taste of what they can expect from the first week of The Late Show, beginning Sept. 8: Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush and perennial A-lister George Clooney will grace his couch on night one while Kendrick Lamar provides musical entertainment the following evening. Now CBS has released the rest of the first week’s lineup, and it’s a veritable potpourri of writers, entertainers and business executives. For his second show, on Sept. 9, Scarlett Johansson and SpaceX and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk will pay a visit. On Sept. 10, Colbert will interview Uber CEO Travis Kalanick, with a performance by Toby Keith. And on Friday, Sept. 11, Amy Schumer and Stephen King will round out the week, with musical guest Troubled Waters. If Colbert’s first week at the helm of the late night empire is any indication of what’s to come, we can expect to see more interaction with musical guests—as his lineup suggests that he will interview musicians in addition to their performances—as well as a healthy mix of guests from inside Hollywood and beyond. |
| One Direction Fans Are Not Taking The Group’s Split Well Posted: 24 Aug 2015 07:56 AM PDT British boy band One Direction will go on an “extended hiatus” next year, according to reports from People, E!, and The Sun. The news comes five months after Zayn Malik left the group and just a few days after current members Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Liam Payne dressed like astronauts for the “Drag Me Down” music video. Sources have told the entertainment news outlets that the pop stars will go their separate directions to pursue different projects for “at least” a year, starting in March of 2016. In the meantime, the band will continue to tour, and their fifth album is expected to be released before their break begins. Below is a sample of how both fans — as well as those mocking the fans — reacted to the news on Twitter:

| Watch the Mesmerizing Under Armour Ad That Proves Practice Makes Perfect Posted: 24 Aug 2015 07:53 AM PDT If you ever needed inspiration to get yourself working toward your biggest dreams, Under Armour has just the thing. The activewear brand’s latest ad stars NBA MVP Stephen Curry, who helped the Golden State Warriors bring home an NBA championship; Misty Copeland, the first black principal ballerina at the American Ballet Theatre; and golfer Jordan Spieth, who won both the 2015 Masters and the U.S. Open. The #RuleYourself campaign launched with a hypnotizing video that shows each athlete, and thousands of replicas of themselves, focusing on their own training, with the final tagline: You are the sum of all your training. Tom Brady, who is currently challenging a four-game suspension from the NFL over “Deflategate,” is also set to be part of this new campaign. Though he’s absent from the latest spot, an Under Armour spokesperson confirms that Brady’s commercial will debut sometime September. |
| Watch a Sneak Peek of Taylor Swift’s New Music Video Posted: 24 Aug 2015 07:39 AM PDT Taylor Swift is set to debut her newest music video right before the MTV Video Music Awards. The pop star made the announcement Sunday night on Twitter, which came accompanied by a brief but, uh, very intense preview of what’s in store. As you can see, this 15-second clip features a piercing blue eye (probably Swift’s?), a galloping horse, packs of wild zebras running freely through the plain, a bird, a sunset and some sensual canoodling in a rain storm. This new video for “Wildest Dreams” will be the fifth video from Swift’s album 1989. She’s already released videos for “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” “Style” and “Bad Blood.” Read next: Taylor Swift Brings Matt LeBlanc, Chris Rock and Mary J. Blige On-Stage in Los Angeles |
| Tourist Rescued Thanks to SOS Message in Sand Posted: 24 Aug 2015 05:39 AM PDT A British man trying to take a shortcut through the bush back to his camp soon found himself lost in Jardine National Park in north Queensland, Australia, and was only rescued after he wrote for help in the sand. The man, Geoff Keys, wrote on his blog that he realized he was lost after going for a long swim. “And here is where I made one of the stupidest decisions ever. Instead of turning round and swimming back upstream I decided to take to the bush and cut across to the track. It was nearly dark. I had no shoes. What was I thinking of? Well, I was convinced the track was nearby and walking back would have been easier than swimming. So I took a bearing off the setting sun and the rising moon and headed north, back the way I’d come.” After he continued to wander lost into the night, Keys realized that he would have stop for the night. After the sun rose, Keys heard the sound of a distant helicopter and sent out an SOS message, writing “HELP 2807” in the sand. The helicopter, which had been searching for him after his friends reported him missing, spotted his sign and Keys was rescued. Keys also wrote on his blog, “It’s safe to say that I’m very grateful to everyone involved in my rescue. Their skill and professionalism is incredible. I feel stupid but lucky,” before reassuring his friends and family that he wouldn’t try a similar shortcut again. [ITV] |
