Watch This Toddler’s Rousing Performance of a Classic Les Miserables Song

It’s never too early to start getting into Broadway musicals, as we’ve learned from this toddler named Koen.

Watch this three-year-old musical aficionado deliver a passionate rendition of “Do You Hear the People Sing?” from Les Miserables. He does this while standing atop a piano bench and appears to have a broken arm, but that doesn’t stop him from giving it his all. In fact, it’s quite possible the pain is exactly what fueled such an intense performance.

Koen may not know every word, but he comes quite close. Plus, it’s really his commitment to the craft that matters most here.

Kim Kardashian West has perfected the pouty look, but why so serious? The star says there’s a reason why she doesn’t show off her pearly whites.

Kardashian West tells C Magazine in a new interview that her reluctance to smile stems from her first pregnancy in 2013 with daughter North West.

The reality star, 34, says preeclampsia caused her to bloat, and in turn set her up for harsh critique from the public.

“Last time [contributed to] not only the weight, but also the swelling that everyone would make fun of, not understanding that I had this condition,” she tells Amanda de Cadenet in the magazine’s 10th anniversary cover story.

The expecting mom calls the body-shaming the “worst.”

“I couldn’t help it, and everyone would say, ‘She can’t stop eating,’ ” she says. “I delivered at 180, and they were like, ‘She’s 210 pounds. She’s getting dumped because she’s too fat’ and all these ridiculous stories. It really took a toll after the fact, when I was losing weight. I gained 50 pounds, and it’s tough to get it off.”

Kardashian West, whose husband Kanye West is also known for his reluctance to grin, says she was “dedicated” to getting back to her pre-baby shape, but it “changed the way I viewed wanting my picture taken.”

“Before I was always smiling, and so into being out and about,” she tells the magazine. “After I had the baby, I was like, ‘These are the same people that made fun of me, and posted the stories that were so awful, calling me fat for something I couldn’t control.'”

Her solution? No more smiling.

“‘I don’t want to smile for them. I don’t want to be out,'” Kardashian West says. “Even if I was more confident, I just didn’t feel like being that girl who was going to be smiling for every photo. It changed my mood; it changed who I was; it changed my personality a lot.”

Did you know you can order a Domino’s pizza simply by tweeting the pizza emoji? Well, the New York Jets’ rookie quarterback Bryce Petty recently found out about this and shared his excitement on Twitter.

What Petty didn’t realize is that he’d really, really upset Jets fans, most of whom live in the New York and New Jersey areas and take pizza very seriously.

Here’s Taylor Swift and Scott Eastwood in the Upcoming Video of ‘Wildest Dreams’

Scott Eastwood stars in Taylor Swift’s video for “Wildest Dreams,” and the singer previewed the clip’s forthcoming debut with a photo of Eastwood on Twitter, looking so tall (and handsome as hell). Swift included lyrics from “Wildest Dreams” in the tweet:

“Say you’ll remember me/ Standing in a nice dress/ Staring at the sunset, babe.”

Swift previously teased the video last weekend, when she announced that it would debut during the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show on Sunday night. “Wildest Dreams” is the fifth video Swift has released off her smash-hit album 1989.

This Nike Korea Ad Will Inspire You to Silence the Haters, Pursue Athletic Glory

Nike Korea’s latest advertisement encourages you to follow the company’s slogan and “just do it” — no matter what the haters say.

The spot features retired Korean soccer star Lee Young-pyo, who plays multiple characters, all of whom essentially tell young athletes to give up on their dreams. He’s the umpire who says, “This is a waste of time,” the onlooker who says, “This won’t help you” and the coach who says, “Learn your limits.”

But this is a Nike commercial, so do the young athletes give up? Obviously not. They roll up their sleeves, lace up their shoes and work harder so they can silence the naysayers.

Warning: if you’re watching this from your couch, it might inspire you to get up and go for a run or something. Maybe.

Ronda Rousey Somehow Makes This Gluttonous Breakfast Sandwich Look Healthy

Ronda Rousey is an undefeated mixed martial artist, actress, model and now, apparently, a Carl’s Jr. spokesperson. The burger chain just released an ad which features Rousey chowing down on its latest menu item: the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Breakfast Sandwich. (Carl’s Jr., it should be noted, has long been criticized for sexist advertisements.)

Somehow, Rousey makes this sandwich — which features sausage, egg, cheese and syrup wedged between two slices of French toast — look kind of healthy. The ad alternates between footage of Rousey chowing down on the sandwich and footage of her pummeling opponents in the ring.

Clearly, this is a ploy to make us think the sandwich is packed with nutrients that could give us Ronda Rousey levels of energy, strength and power. And clearly, this ploy totally works.

J.K. Rowling Is ‘Proud’ of Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom’s Twitter Rivalry

As we all know by now, J.K. Rowling maintains an active presence on Twitter, and apparently keeps an eye on her old Harry Potter actors (see her priceless reaction to Matthew Lewis’ shirtless photos back in May). Today, she gave her seal of approval to a series of friendly ribbings between Lewis (who played Neville Longbottom) and Tom Felton (who played Draco Malfoy). After Lewis retweeted a trailer for Felton’s upcoming movie Risen, he and Felton got into a friendly back-and-forth, teasing each other with jokes about their characters’ Hogwarts houses.

If we were judging this based on pun quality, Felton clearly won, but Rowling doesn’t care. She’s just happy that the former costars (whom she cutely referred to as “my boys”) are still trying to “kick each other’s arses,” and, of course, still referencing Harry Potter.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump awkwardly dodged a series of questions about the bible during an interview on Bloomberg’s “With All Due Respect.” Most notably, he refused to name his favorite bible verse — not even one — because that was “too personal.” (Also, when asked if he was “an Old Testament guy or a New Testament guy,” he responded, “Uh, probably equal.”)

Trump’s elusive answers prompted people to begin writing fake bible verses in “Trump Speak,” and thus, the #TrumpBible hashtag was born. Now, a few days later, it’s still going strong.

A quick scroll through Robert Downey Jr.‘s Instagram and it’s clear to see why his wife fell in love with him: his great sense of humor.

But in his latest post, the Iron Man actor, 50, put all jokes aside, taking on a more earnest tone to share just how much he loves his wife in return.

To celebrate his 10th anniversary with wife Susan Downey, the actor posted a cute photo of the two wearing matching black shirts and sunglasses on the beach.

Referring to both his wife’s undeniable beauty and the number of years they have been married, he captioned the photo, “A perfect 10. Happy Anniversary, Mrs. Downey.”

It’s clearly been a great year for the couple, who welcomed a daughter together in November.

“Yep … Avri Roel Downey joined the party @ 3:22 a.m. on November 4th … she’s 7 lbs even, spans 20 inches, and is accompanied by a variety of Susan’s traits that have seemingly overwritten my ‘junk DNA,’ ” Downey wrote onFacebook the day after his daughter’s birth.

You probably don’t hear the word “raccoon” and immediately think “awwwww,” but trust us, these two raccoon brothers are really cute.

The raccoon named Willie decides to get into a swimming pool and enjoy a nice, refreshing dip. His brother Waylon, however, appears to be extremely nervous about this and tries several times to rescue Willie. He’s clearly too scared to get into the pool himself, so he just hangs out by the edge and tries to reach Willie whenever he gets close enough. Eventually, Willie decides he doesn’t want Waylon to be so worried anymore, because he is a deeply compassionate creature, so he decides to get out.

The main question raised by this video: who has raccoons as pets?
