| Watch How Many Pop Songs This Couple Packed Into Their Epic Wedding Music Video Posted: 28 Aug 2015 09:53 AM PDT Hoping to make the wedding video to end all wedding videos, 250 guests made a music video that is basically a tribute to pop songs that have become memes, such as Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and “Love is an Open Door” from Frozen. Yet the most unique part of the video happens early on, when a guy wearing fake buttocks shakes them as the bride and groom, Robert and Teresa Ly, dance to Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.” The couple, who own a sushi restaurant in Orlando, Florida, does not seem to do anything lightly: a YouTube video of Robert’s proposal to Teresa shows him and several other guys taking off their clothes and revealing superhero costumes underneath. It seems a safe bet that they’ll be that couple that has a music video up their sleeve for every milestone in life.

He never expected the actor to show up and do it for him in person, which is exactly what Jackman did. The Australian actor gave the youngster a big hug and then asked the little one to do his best Wolverine impression. And in a span of about two minutes, the fictional superhero did not seem so fictional anymore.  |
| This Drone Caught a Guy Chilling on Top of a Wind Turbine Posted: 28 Aug 2015 08:31 AM PDT With public cameras growing ever-more-ubiquitous, there’s seemingly no such thing as privacy anymore—not even atop a 200-foot-tall wind turbine. A drone pilot named Kevin Miller was flying his unmanned aircraft in Rhode Island when it spotted a man sunbathing on top of a wind turbine. It’s unclear who the man is or how he got up there, though an open hatch next to him implies that he climbed up a ladder to reach the top. Perhaps he’s an engineer, or just a daredevil who gets his kicks climbing incredibly tall structures. The discovery begs the question: just how many people are chilling on top of turbines, windmills, water towers and other large infrastructure edifices as we speak? | Grumpy Cat’s Getting a Wax Figure and Of Course She’s Mad About It Posted: 28 Aug 2015 08:24 AM PDT Poor Grumpy Cat had to tolerate all the measuring and fitting it takes to become a wax figure at Madame Tussauds. The museum just announced that the famous feline will be immortalized in wax at its San Francisco location, Business Wire reports. In the clip below, you’ll see Grumpy Cat begrudgingly sit for the Madame Tussauds sculptors, who clearly want to make sure they get the wax figure just right. Grumpy Cat’s figure will be “an animatronic with five different movements” and will be unveiled at the San Francisco museum later this year. | This Marriage Proposal Went Completely, Horribly Wrong Posted: 28 Aug 2015 07:39 AM PDT In what appears to be every boyfriend’s worst nightmare, a man got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend on a deck outside a waterfront restaurant in Southport, North Carolina, when he dropped the ring through the cracks into the ocean. WBTV.com reports 25-year-old Matthew Picca jumped in, along with 24-year-old girlfriend Kayla Harrity’s brother-in-law and sister and some patrons of the restaurant, Old American Fish. Picca even ruined his phone during the desperate search. But, Harrity said, “[a]fter ten flashlights, and five pairs of goggles and over 1.5 hours of searching in the water…the ring was found!” Picca got to propose all over again, and Harrity said yes, so the incident is just water under the bridge now.  |
| National Zoo’s Surviving Newborn Panda Is a Boy Posted: 28 Aug 2015 06:49 AM PDT (WASHINGTON) — The National Zoo’s panda parents, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian, have another son. The zoo announced Friday morning that the surviving panda cub is male and the son of the zoo’s male panda Tian Tian. Mei Xiang gave birth to twins Saturday, but the smaller cub died Wednesday. Officials say that smaller cub was also a male fathered by Tian Tian. The cub’s cause of death hasn’t been determined. Keepers say the larger cub is doing well and growing. Tian Tian is the father of Mei Xiang’s other cubs, daughter Bao Bao and son Tai Shan. During this year’s panda breeding, Mei Xiang was artificially inseminated with semen from Tian Tian and a panda in China that was deemed a good genetic match.  |

Gal pals and American sweethearts Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer got on stage at the singer’s concert on Thursday at Wrigley Field in Chicago, dancing along to “Uptown Girl” (which features on the soundtrack of Schumer’s movie, Trainwreck). In one video posted to Instagram, Lawrence kisses Schumer on the foot. The new friends recently announced earlier this week that they’re working on writing a movie together in which they’ll play sisters. “We start the day off on the phone, laughing,” Lawrence told the New York Times. “And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago.”  |
| Car Thief Suspect Does Dance for Police During Chase Posted: 28 Aug 2015 04:35 AM PDT A woman suspected of stealing a car gave the cops pursuing her a bit of a show. After Los Angeles police engaged in a chase with the woman on Wednesday night, they threw down a spike strip, which punctured a tire. In an unusual turn of events, she then got out of the car, did a little dance, and got back into the car. Cops eventually surrounded the vehicle and pulled her out. The woman is believed to have been driving under the influence. Watch her performance in footage from the local ABC station.

Rowling made a surprising revelation about Rubeus Hagrid, one of the best-loved characters from the Harry Potter series. When a fan asked Rowling what form Hagrid’s Patronus would take – a great question, considering Hagrid’s unusual taste in pets – she replied: “Hagrid couldn’t produce a Patronus. It’s a very difficult spell.” In both the books and the films, the Patronus charm is one of the most powerful defense spells a witch or wizard can cast to ward off Dementors, the dark creatures that feed off human happiness. It’s one of the most complex spells in the wizarding world, and in order to conjure a Patronus, a wizard needs to draw upon his most powerful happy memory. The Charm conjures a magical guardian in the shape of the animal with whom the witch or wizard shares the greatest affinity. Rowling’s response may point to the fact that the spell is simply too difficult for Hagrid, who was expelled from Hogwarts as a teenager, to perform.
