Austin-Bergstrom International Airport recently shared a video of a Texas man named Ed Zamora serenading his wife of 33 years — aptly named Melody — with “What a Wonderful World” in the baggage claim area.

In a Facebook post, the airport wrote that Zamora showed up Tuesday afternoon with flowers in one hand and a trumpet in the other. When he saw his wife, who had just come back from a two-week trip to Spain, he started to play as she made her way down an escalator.

A little girl seems to have caught a fish that most people who fish as a hobby would be thrilled to catch — and all she was using was a Barbie fishing pole.

In a video uploaded by YouTube user Ram Mehta, a little girl named Avery appears to reel in a bass with a Barbie fishing pole while on a boat with her father. The dad says he thinks it is about 20 inches long in the clip.

Anne Hathaway and Seth Meyers’ Last Scene of A Romantic Comedy Is the Spoof You’ve Always Wanted

Posted: 25 Sep 2015 07:51 AM PDT

Boy meets girl. They fall in love. Something breaks them up. And in the end, they find their way back to each other.

We all know this tried and true formula for a romantic comedy. On Thursday night’s episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host and Anne Hathaway saved us the trouble of sitting through their entire courtship and skipped right to the final scene.

After his interview with Hathaway ends, Meyers realizes he still has something he needs to ask his guest. Clichés abound as he races through the studio hoping to reach the actress before she leaves. When he finally catches up to Hathaway, she looks at him with excitement and hope as he pops the question we’re all dying to hear.

Will “Was Robert De Niro a prankster on set?,” become the new “Will you marry me?” Only time will tell.

This High School Student Built a Wheelchair-Adaptable Stroller for a Paraplegic Mother

Posted: 25 Sep 2015 06:56 AM PDT

She’s the ultimate “Push Goddess.”

Living a majority of her life as a paraplegic, Sharina Jones knew the challenges being a wheelchair-bound mother would bring. But thanks to one high school student, her journey in motherhood has gotten a little easier.

“A lot of my friends have babies, and they are out running with their babies in the stroller, and I thought ‘What am I going to do?’ ” Jones, 35, told Fox 2 Detroit.

Jones, of Michigan, just wanted to take her baby for a stroll, and thanks to 16-year-old University of Detroit Jesuit High School & Academy student Alden Kane and the University of Detroit Mercy, Jones got the chance.

Through both a STEM — science, technology, engineering and math — course and the university, Kane designed an adaptable stroller for the new mom, according to the high school. The stroller snaps on to the wheelchair using steel tubing.

“After six months of hard work, six months of working in the machine shop designing it up, it was priceless seeing the design on her wheelchair, being used with her child in it,” Kane told FOX.

Now, Kane says he wants to perfect the prototype and eventually patent the adaptable stroller.

As for Jones, the stroller is an addition to the long list of ways that she manages to live a full and active life despite being a paraplegic.

Jones was just five years old when she was accidentally shot by another child playing with a gun. Determined to get her mind off of her shortcomings and on to helping others, Jones established the “Think Beyond the Chair” organization, which provides social activities, support and education for people with disabilities.

She even wrote a book titled Life of a Push Goddess, sharing her life experiences following the tragic accident.

“You’re still the same person, it’s up to you how you want to live life,” she told Fox of life as a paraplegic.

This May Be the Youngest Cowgirl Ever

Posted: 25 Sep 2015 05:00 AM PDT

Living in the YouTube era, it’s never entirely surprising to see a 5-year-old piano prodigy or a breakdancing toddler go viral—impressive as their talents may be. Half a century ago, those baby Einsteins got their 15 minutes of fame in a more old-fashioned medium: the back pages of LIFE magazine.

Fifteen-month-old Jean Anne Evans was one such child. The Texan toddler was born into a family of ranchers and horseback riders, and first straddled a saddle (with her mother in tow) at the tender age of one month. When LIFE photographer Alan Grant visited her family’s farm near Fort Davis, he found her holding her own atop her 25-year-old horse, Toy Boy.

Despite her prowess, LIFE wrote, she occasionally “betrays her years by dropping off to sleep suddenly in mid-roundup.” Thankfully, her mother’s saddle made for just the place to take a nap.

This Supermodel’s Request for a Wedding No-Fly Zone Sparked a Battle for Israel’s Skies

Posted: 24 Sep 2015 08:34 PM PDT

Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli almost went from turning heads to turning away flights when she asked to close the air space above her wedding on Thursday at the Carmel Forest resort near Haifa.

In the end, her request for privacy pitted Israel’s transport minister against the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in a public feud, the BBC reported.

The CAA initially granted the no-fly zone above the 30-year-old’s wedding to billionaire businessman Adi Ezra. But Transport Minister Yisrael Katz opposed it on Sunday, saying, “The skies belong to all Israeli citizens and we can’t offer special treatment for this event over other events.”

The CAA ignored Katz and two days later announced the air space above the wedding would be closed from 5 p.m. on Thursday to 2 a.m. on Friday, citing safety reasons.

Katz responded in kind, reportedly telling CAA chief Joel Feldschuh: “If the skies are not open above Bar Refaeli’s wedding — you will be removed from your post.”

The Transport Ministry seems to have had the last word. It told the Jerusalem Post that planes were free to fly above Refaeli as she walked down the aisle. In fact, the couple was reportedly planning to fly their own drones, helicopters and an observation balloon above the hotel.

Watch This Tiny Lion Cub Attempt The Cutest of Roars

This adorable lion cub shows that even the mightiest hunter comes from some pretty meek beginnings.

The little guy’s attempt at a ferocious and terrifying howl manifests itself in the smallest, most charming of squeaks. As he tries harder to strike fear into the hearts of those watching, this real-life Simba only makes himself seem less threatening with his little yelps.

We’re sure his roar will be mighty as ever some day. For now, though, he better count on his cuteness to get him by.

Watch This Sassy Mouse Turn The Tables On a Cat

The rodents of New York City are taking over. If you thought the recent videos of pizza rat and milkshake squirrel were evidence enough of this, just wait until you see this footage of the one and only window mouse.

The small animal uses its seemingly superior of intelligence to torment a cat, its species’ greatest enemy. While passerby stop to laugh at the scene, the cheeky mouse uses the window separating it from the cat to drive the feline insane.

Which rodent will be next to become a viral video sensation?

The upcoming play based on a new, original Harry Potter story will be presented in two parts when it debuts next summer, J.K. Rowling revealed on Thursday.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is being adapted into a stage play by Jack Thorne based on an original story from Rowling, Thorne and John Tiffany. It is set to premiere at London’s Palace Theatre in summer 2016, according to Pottermore.

J.K. Rowling tweeted Thursday the “epic nature” of the story led the masterminds behind the play to split it into two parts.

Thorne told Pottermore, the official Harry Potter website, that he’s ecstatic to be able to flesh out the upcoming production.

“It shares a scale and ambition with all the Harry Potter stories so in order to do this justice we have decided to present the play in two parts,” Thorne said.

The news comes just days after Pottermore unveiled a redesign and published a new family history of the series’ titular character.
